a nice winter venue! © chrisdavies
beach bouldering, good landings for the most, and a reasonable variety of grades.lots of steep little lines and pumpy traverses. there are many obvious lines, and infinite eliminates to be sent. some areas need the sun to dry off, but a lovely venue in the winter when the suns out. The height of the crag can vary considerably (2metres) depending on the height of the pebbles, thus adding more possibilities as the rock is exposed. The current height is quite high compared to the levels in 2005 but this does go down again regularly!
Lies in the sheltered cove 1km up from Porth Dafarch in the direction of Treaddur Bay. Park near the bend of the road above the beach where a wire fence is visible. pull well in, room for a couple of cars.
