Grouse Mountain is one of the North Shore Mountains to the north of the city of Vancouver, BC. Along with the cable car to the summit there are 2 main walks to the summit, both challenging due to their gradient.
The Grouse grind is a famous 2.9km trail to the top with an elevation gain of 850m over 2830 steps. Lesser known, the BCMC is similar to the grouse grind but less developed, 3km long it provides a challenging alternative on harder terrain.
