Crag features
The Condoriri group (left to right,) feature Pico Austria (5312m,) a snowless walk. Ala Izquerdia (Left Wing,) which is a straight snow/ice route, Cabeza De Condor (5648m, Head of the Condor,) a good mountain with steep summit ridge. Ala derecha, (right wing,) Pico Huoymen (Wyoming,) Tarija, on the glacier on the way to wee beauty that is Pequenyo Alpamayo and a few others. The base camp at Laguna Chiar Kota is lovely and a good week can be spent ticking summits and doing routes. Map marker is on basecamp.
Approach notes
Take a jeep (expensive,) taxi (cheaper) or hitch a lift with a guide company (cheapest,) that is going on the day you wish. To get back, either arrange a pickup with the company that took you out or wait for transport dropping a group off to pass. One of the houses at the road head also had a taxi (2009.) Drop off is at Tuni. Go left around the Laguna (right doesn't QUITE connect,) and follow the path to base camp in 3-5 hours.
