One of the best known and earliest devloped areas on the Aberdeen coast.
Good climbing on sound rock.
Must Do: Mythical Wall (E1 5b), Southeast Diedre (HVS 4c), Brooker's Arete (S)
Most of the routes are tidal.
If approaching by car, park at the car park at Burnbanks Village (57.108695, -2.071337), then cross the railway line using the bridge, and follow the path to the cliff edge. Once on the clifftop path, head south until you seee the pools.
If approaching using public transport, take the bus to Cove (Langdykes Rd). Walk east, and follow the path to the clifftops. Head north untill you see the pools (~15 Mins).
Take the coastal path rather than cutting through the field.
Do not park blocking the railway bridge, use the carpark in Burnbanks Village
