Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 355m a.s.l
Faces SE
A small roadside crag with 6 sectors and a spread of grades from 2a to 7a.
There are more routes further up the road (Les Casements) only equipped with top moulinettes.
From Ollioules take the D11 south for 500m then turn right on to the D20. 3k after the picnic area (and about 1k after a green water tank on the R) the road makes two sharp turns R and just after a 'no entry' sign (reinforcing the seasonal restriction) Les Dalles are obvious on the side of the road. Decent parking for a few vehicles. Turning is possible here, with care! The path to the other sectors leaves the road 400m back towards Ollioules and there are small parking areas. Zebulon is up L of Les Dalles along the obvious path.
NB. The road may be closed during the summer and at night because of fire risk. If it is closed the barrier is at the large picnic area 3k before the crag.
NB number 2. The yellow-flowered plan 'Rue' is common in the area. Avoid! It can cause bad blistering. Google 'ruta graveolens'.
Road closed in summer and at night in winter. Weather may bring additional restrictions due to fire hazard - extreme conditions may prevent walking up!
