Climbs 3
Rocktype Gritstone
Altitude 438m a.s.l
Faces SW
A tiny crag that was created after a landslip in the dim and distant past. There's lots of bad rock but enough solid rock for three good climbs including one rather unique route (Archives of Oblivion) which is well worth the effort required to get there.
The best time to visit is midweek as this is the only time you can drive along the tarmac road to get within a mile of the crag, otherwise it's a long walk.
Park on the second, long, sharp right-hand bend from where the approach path starts. Follow the path up through the trees, past a couple of zigzags, then onto the plateau. When the crag comes into view when you're almost below it, make a beeline up to the crag.
