On the approach to Rossälplispitz from the north-west © rlrs
The ascent from the Wägital (from the west) to the Rossalpelifurggel, the col to the south of the peak, has a short exposed step, grade 1 scramble. The alternative ascent via the unnamed col to the north, while steep in places, has no such difficulty, but snowbanks persisting into early summer may complicate matters. The final ascent to the summit on rock and grass of an awkward steepness has a thick cable in place.
Peak seems to be more commonly named Rossälplispitz these days.
