Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 30m a.s.l
Faces NE
Best for afternoon climbing. Goes into shade from about 12:30.
This crag has a long approach but offers a large concentration of easy & multi-pitch routes. Approach starts as for HD Wall / The Mitt. Walk all the way to the north end of the beach. At high tide you may need to wade or alternatively find a route through the jungle (not recommended). About 10 metres before the end of the beach follow the trail up and left into the jungle. Follow the path through the forest and turn right at the fork where you would go left for The Mitt. Follow the path along and follow the sign for Big Tree Wall. New ladders have been added to aid access up the steep scramble and fixed ropes are new as of March 2013.
