Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.
At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.
We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.
Altitude 239m a.s.l
Previously known as Far West Raven Crag, White Crag has been listed on its own since the 2013 Langdale guide. Mainly single pitch routes up to 35 meters on good rock.
Follow the main Raven Crag path up the hill until it splits left. Follow the wall all the way to the foot of the Lower Buttress.
|This crag is well worth a visit if you're climbing in the HS - HVS range. The rock, especially on the upper crag, is excellent and there are some good lines. Some of the routes are a little sparse on the gear front. Bumble Arete is a delightful diff., and Left Trouser Leg and Val Ferret are really nice routes.|
