Crag features
A single block of sandstone perched high on the hillside of Stronend. Easily seen from the Fintry to Kippen road. Marked as Skiddaw crag on the map (this is the chossy crag just above the boulder). Whilst not extensive, the outlook is fantastic and its a good way to spend a couple of hours if you happen to be in the area i.e. Esoteric!
Approach notes
20-30 min uphill walk in depending on fitness. Park discretley by the entrance to the caravan park and head up through the fields keeping the forestry plantation to your left.
