The diverse collection of crags should easily satisfy most climbers at the lower end of the grade range (4-6b/c) for a week or so. Proximity to the sea, a good tourist infrastructure which is largely unused and reasonably cheap during the best times for climbing, solid if sometimes sharp rock and good protection combine for a family holiday destination. Routes were opened by a variety of Slovenian, Austrian, German and Croatian climbers, with quite some potential for development being left.
In addition to the sports climbing described here, Slovenians climbed some 20 easy multi-pitch (III-IV) trad lines documented at plezanje.net on the slopes south of town.
Access notes are with the main sector descriptions.
To make it easier to identify the routes I have added a topo picture. Flydiamond - 06/Jun/16 |

This a a relatively new crag, and therefore has some loose rock. There is a band of shattered loose rock in the area of Oldie, Black Beauty and Pink Lady in the last few metres. Be very careful!! Andy Chambers - 13/Oct/14 |
