Crag features

The highest peak in the Neouvielle massif, located northeast of Gavarnie. Usually climbed by NE or SE ridges. The traditional route up the glacier is now much harder due to glacial recession, finishing with hard chimney to reach the saddle of Hourquette de Badet. This is still often abseiled in descent.

Approach notes

Bivvy hut in the valley above Gedre.
