Crack climb © haworthjim
A cracking little all weather crag that's very sheltered. It's very slightly overhanging and the climbing style is your typical grit quarry crimpfest.
Locals have been climbing here for years and the obvious lines are documented here but the beauty of this little gem is the endless eliminates that are possible.
Unfortunately it has suffered from a phantom chipper that has ruined the crag classic but don't let this put you off from a visit if you happen to be in beautiful Haworth.
Take the main road out of Haworth towards Stanbury until you turn left on cemetery road. Follow this until a T junction. Turn left uphill and then left into Penistone Hill Country Park. Continue up the gravel track to the top carpark. The crag is down and left from this carpark. 2 mins.
eliminates everywere, keeps me entertained when its too warm for grit. (watch for the dog poo and the phantom chipper) jhustler92 - 24/Jun/15 |

Hurt So Good is no longer the grade it used to be. It seems someone has been to the crag with a hammer and chisel and decided to destroy the route. There's just no need!!! Josh Walker - 03/Jul/14 |
