Mentioned in the new Dartmoor guide, and fully descibed in the Henderson and Stokes Rockfax Devon Bouldering guide, there is fun to had here albeit of a limited nature. This is a beautiful loaction with views of Bench Tor on the other side of the valley and the possibilty of glimpsing some naked middle aged swimmers at Sharrah Pool.
The main tor is mainly spread out scrambling that is generally low in height (great for all you sit-start enthusiasts). A few hundred yards to the southeast is a larger collection of boulders up to 3-4m in height where there is more fun to be had.
Park at the Bel Tor carpark (now £3) and head south to the clearly visible Mel Tor. Stay on the path and avoid heading up to the main tor for quicker access to the boulders listed here. The sharks fin boulder is clearly visible from the path.
