A dramatic landscape with numerous vertical granite towers and hundreds of trad routes.
Approach notes
From Arenas de San Pedro follow signs for Guisando and Nogal del Barranco. Go through Guisando and onto the road end parking. Take the path called Carril de los Galayos. For the first hour, the path ascends gradually. When you reach La Apretura, the path crosses the gorge to the other hillside and becomes much steeper. 1h 15min to La Apretura and total 2h 15min to Refugio Victory. This refugio is just a small shelter.
