Altitude 526m a.s.l
A worthwhile and recently developed crag situated in the impressive Aspe Valley. The crags are north-facing, so very useful on sunny days, and comprise of 3 sectors, with Tichodrome being ideal for beginners and children.
Good topo here.
Lies close to the N134 road roughly halfway between Oloron-Ste-Marie and the Col de Somport. About 4km south of Badous the N134 enters a gorge and is joined by the D237 signed Lees-Athas. Crag is signed from this point. 2 minute walk from car park.
|Worth a visit, with something for climbers of all abilities. Sector Tichodrome routes are not in fact all 4a. This sector can be damp and mossy as gets no sun and overhung by trees. The four Sans Nom routes have names now, according to the updated topo, available free from the Tourist Info office in Badous. The two rightmost of them, both 4s, are outstandingly good.|
