Crag features

Dissused railway cutting, named because of it's resemblance to the notorious one in Burma.Very high ranking in the Mendip Esoterica stakes and at the moment has only one route, although there is potential for developement.Only worth visiting in dry weather.

Approach notes

Leave Wells on the A371 for Shepton Mallet and take the Shepton Old Road on the right then turn right for Canard's Grave and again right for West Compton.100 metres after the turn is a right angled bend witha green lane heading west, park here and walk down the lane for 100 metres then enter the field on the right, follow the left edge of the field till you get to the bottom of the hill then enter the cutting on the left.

No Access Issues

unknown.

Good place for a brew during a walk, or for pretty much anything else other than climbing. Perhaps with a lot of work to remove chossy rock, dirt, moss and other vegetation you might have something worth the short trek. Otherwise not.
