Crag features
One of the best crags in Bolivia based in a canyon on an estancia. A beautiful setting (an oasis in the altiplano desert full of llamas) and there is plenty of scope for many more routes. Mostly single pitch, although the best route can be done in two pitches.
Approach notes
The estancia is about 50km south east of Potosi on the road to Uyuni. It is on the right hand side of the road and there is a sign post to the estancia. There may well be a chain across the entrance. It is probably best to contact Carlos Tito first (www.climbingsucre.com). He can give you the lowdown and the name of the person to find at the estancia.
Access Advice
Best to talk to Carlos first before going there. He also had topos of the crags.
The grades are ALL over the plave both directions so take with a pinch of salt. Ive added some climbs to UKC with mine and Rach's opinion.
