Climbs 2
Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 53m a.s.l
Small archway surrounded with trees and bushes. Floor and wall was cleaned and tidied in summer 23 as it was very overgrown. There has been very little development of the crag so there is a bit of loose rock.
On the side of the arch you face when approaching there is an old sport bolt but it is very rusty and I would recommend not trusting it for anything.
Walk up penny's hill from penny's cottage and just before the school sign (also where the pavement narrows) turn left into the bushes. There is usually a somewhat visible pathway and it gets clearer as you follow it. Be cautious of the left side of the pathway as if you come off the pathway you may end up falling off the edge of the path.
The House owner to the right of the path and crag doesnt mind people climbing there but does prefer it if there isn't a massive party of people making loads of noise.
Best time to go would be during normal working hours in the week and to gobin a smaller group being mindful of noise.
