Crag features

The hillside called Newton Spur has several small, separate buttresses on which climbs have been recorded. Of these Flat-Line Wall is by some margin the best.

Approach notes

Use the parking area by Newton Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the track eastwards along the north bank of the river. The best option is to leave the track early (use field gate by stream) to ascend the hill before the crags, rather than following the track till directly below the crags. 15 mins.
