Strictly no dogs as the farmer and his dogs frequently bring the goats past the cave. This huge cave above a goat pen with some very impressive routes in the higher grades. There are also lower walls outside the goat pen.
NOTE: There was previously an outbreak of fleas in the main cave due to livestock sheltering there. In 2024 local climbers said this hasn't been a problem for several years as the farmer has built another pen. Sheep do still graze on the vegetation around the cave and there is a risk of ticks from this.
Poor parking has caused access issues here. Please park on the large flat concrete area at the nearby road junction, well away from the farm access.
STRICTLY NO DOGS.
There is fleas in the pen, lower routes seems okay. beni - 20/Feb/20 |
