Faces SE
A striking and daunting looking face, sitting right next to an unused mine lies the main crag of Clogfaeni yr Llys. There are also a few other boulders scattered around the area, including a very wet and humid one closer down to the main road.
From Porthmadog: Follow A498 towards Beddgelert. Park at the layby by the white house (Glan-y-Don). Walk along the stretch of road until you reach a track on the left, heading up into the forest, signposted "Coed Oerddwr - Forestry Comission".
For the main Crag:
Follow the woodland track up to the mountain gate. Ensure to close the gate, as the mountain is farmed.
Continue up the track until the buildings owned by Llys come into view, then head left on a footpath, where the main crag can be seen.
For Llys - Roadside:
Park in the same area, walk along the road (towards Porthmadog) for ~100m after the white house on the right. A large, overhanging boulder sits just within the treeline. A collapsing fence lies between the road and the boulder, please attempt to take care when stepping over it.
