Climbs 3
Rocktype Granite
Faces all
Can either be climbed tradionally, or by top rope (using the concrete posts at the top for anchors). In the quarry with the ampitheatre there is a couple of routes that are bolted. Very slippery when wet, and quite often brambles at the bottom of climbs. The quarry is filled with holes that used to be used for testing drills for mining, these make very useful handholds!
2 Quarrys. First is the big one with the ampitheatre down from the reservoir. To get to the second from Old sandy lane, take the road called Cal Hill towards Busveal. Take the first right at the junction and park your car at the metal gate. Walk up the path past the gate to get to the quarry. The quarries are linked by a path that goes up past the reservoir.
