Popular field stop for the discerning Mesozic geoscientist. Also home to an abandoned whaling station in Discobukta so remember to take care on the heritage side of things.
Approach notes
Outside Management area 10 so permission, permit and proof of insurance must be obtained prior to travel. Access is best by helicopter or boat in summer season. Storfjorden can be crossed in spring by ski or snowmobile.
