More recently famed for its sequence stratigraphic features, Storvola is a large mountain frequented by geologists, UNIS cruises and more recently the Statoil run Svalex.
Approach notes
Access can be made via boat or helicopter to Van Keulenfjord. Snowmobile from Svea may also be possible for an extended trip.
