Micro-crag in secluded forest setting at 9,300ft, 15 mins from car. Cooler in afternoon shade. Routes are fun and varied on Yosemite granite. Bolted, though some run-outs. Double ring bolts at top- easily accessed.
Park at Horseshoe Lake. Follow path from Horseshoe to McLeod Lake, then follow shore for 50m to weird stumps, then break left and head over brow. There is a direct path up through woods- go anti-clockwise round Horseshoe, after first footbridge head uphill (green marking on rock), higher up when path doglegs right break left. Both ways may result in a bit of hunting!
