The cwm between Y Garn and Foel Goch does not receive much attention aside from the odd walker peering down from the main footpaths above. Cwm Cywion has a once-popular North facing crag featuring trad routes up to 70m, whilst the upper cwm contains much broken rock but gives good winter gullies with a couple of modern additions.
Approach notes
Either traverse across from the footpath of Y Garn's East ridge to the base of the obvious Pinnacle Crag or pick a way up from the Hafod Scout Hut on the Nant Ffrancon road alongside the stream issuing from the cwm.
