Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.
At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.
We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

A super steep cave for climber with big arms!
Dates: 15 September to 14 November
Seals are breeding here again in 2019 and have young pups on the beach. Please do not approach the seals and do not get between the seal pups and the mother, as this could cause the pup to be abandoned. Seals can also be quite aggressive when defending their young! Seals are protected species and distrubance when pupping is an offience. Climbers are asked to avoid the routes and bouldering in the cave and on Pigeon's Beach to the west until the end of November.
Restrictions are back in place for 2019 Thanks to all for observing the restrictions.
