Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 1503m a.s.l
Faces S
A small limestone crag hosting 30 routes in an idylic setting amongst the trees with views over the valley. Often a bit cooler than the lower Arve limestone crags with it being at 1600m, although as it faces south it gets the sun for most of the day and can still get pretty hot in the summer. A lot of the routes in the middle of the crag stay fairly dry in the rain too due to the big overhang at the top of the crag. A variety of climbing with lots of technically and balancey moves on very sharp rock in places (mostly well bolted).
Park in the layby by the École du Conduite and then head along the Chemin Rural de la Plaine du Lac au Crêt until the obvious small path splits off the main track (signposted to the lac and grottes). The crag is reached in a couple of minutes from here.
