East across the pebble beach from the trad climbing location at Griminish Point lies a small wave washed inlet, accessable at mid to low tide.
Years of exposure to the sea has smoothed the rock into a series of large, sloping scoops and prows which offer delicate, precise boulder problems reminiscent of Fontainebleau. The constant erosion from the tide has exposed a prowd central block which boasts some tremendous, powerful climbing in particular the excellent arete line "No Findlay has been here".The channels on either side of the central feature offer a variety of problems ranging from balancy, technical slabs to precise, dynamic overhangs.
Many of the sit starts are still open projects - due to a distinct lack of foot holds - and the fictionless sloping prow at the left of the central block offers a challenge for the strong; the grade is estimated to be in the region of 8.....
Only accessable at mid to low tide. The changeable height of the beach shingle may significantly change the starts of the routes (especially sit starts).
