There are a few worthwhile routes in the lower grades on a wave-washed slab east of the old fort.
Park on roadside verges at the gate, 800m west of Sandy Haven, and follow the gravel track to the holiday cottages in the fort on the headland. From the first small cottage, follow the minor footpath east through brambles to the old jetty by a beautiful sandy cove. Where the path doubles back, scramble south around the headland to beneath the sandstone slabs.
