Crag features
Mainly quite highball boulder problems mixed in with some single pitch trad routes which are well worth seeking out. The climbs stay in the shade for the best part of the day, with the sun not hitting routes until about 1pm. Landings are generally okay, but numerous pads and good spotting is required.
Some climbs were established by Project Côte d'Ivoire in early 2019, but there are hundreds of additional problems waiting to be established. The granite is (largely) featureless so future expeditions should consider taking a bolting kit.

Approach notes
There are two approaches. These are/will be shown in the topo.
From the south - starting at Hotel Vei or The Monkey Forest of Gbêpleu, walk east along the main road for approximately 30m, until you reach a street corner, where you will see Gazza's coffee shop and a woman selling doughnuts on your left hand side. Here, the tarmac road ends and a dirt road begins. Take the dirt road, heading directly north, with the monkey forest on your left hand side. At the time of writing (Jan 2019), at the end of the road, there was a house under construction. Turn left at this house (staying on the road), and go around it, turning right at the other end of the house. Follow the path heading east again for approximately 10m, before turning left (north) up the hill. You will then arrive at the top of shadowlands on some very large flat short boulders.

There are no known access issues, but please be respectful of the land as it is used for growing crops for some parts of the year, and overlooks people's homes.
