Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 224m a.s.l
Three small sandstone outcrops host a set of fun boulder problems. Rock quality is varying accross the buttresses, so take care and clean routes before trying. Best problems are near the pylon with the pick of the bunch being Snapback and Pump Patrol.
From Stocksfield follow signs to Hedly-on-the-Hill. Drive up the hill and continue through the village along Lead Road. About 500m beyond the village turn right along a small road towards Ebchester. Continue past Airey Hill Farm and park next to the Pylon. Part of the crag is visible from here in the trees.
