Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 468m a.s.l
Faces S
A large wall, mainly just off vertical, that catches all the sun going. There is shade at the base, however.
Interesting rock with chert ofering many of the crucial, crimpy, holds. Muro delle Fate gives the more amenable routes with Muro dei Maghi has plenty of harder stuff.
Head north from Vestone on the SP55. After a few kilometers park on the L just before a bridge takes the road over the river. There is a sign for the falesia on the end of the bridge. Follow the path above the river from the bridge (dodgy after rain!) for about 100m then zig-zag steeply up to arrive at the Muro dei Maghi with metal benches. Muro delle Fate is about 100m higher.
