Climbs 5
Rocktype Ice
Altitude 2481m a.s.l

Crag features

Several large 1-2 pitch cascades form directly above the glacier, typically 50-60m high depending on build up and snow cover. The main cascade is about 20m wide, and steepest on the left hand side, several other cascades can also form on each side of the main line

Approach notes

Aproach on skis only. The cascades are about 200m up valley of the start of the climb for the col du Passons ski tour, and are best approached either from the top of the Grand Montets (if/when the cable car is re-built), or up from the refuge de Lognan.
