Crag features

3 crags on N and 4 on the S side of the river Cassabile spread over about a kilometre. Crag marker on the site of Otobrata Pariginia/Fuga Dei Briganti routes. These two routes start up the left edge of the Dieri, a huge cave studded with 140 ancient dwellings easily seen from the south side trattoria.

Approach notes

Drive N along the SP73 for 10.6km, turn left, sign post Riserva Grande. Follow it to a large carpark at the end. From the car park head back west 100m to the reserve information boards. Follow the path down into the canyon for several hundred metres until a narrowing and a very obvious set of carved steps right down into the woods. Follow the steps and ledges down to a gully. Follow the gully down 100m via more ledges and steps to a crossing and a large boulder with a red spot on the right side. Follow the path up towards the cave. Go up into the cave - admire the dwellings -the routes start on a platform on top of a pillar at the top left corner of the cave.
