Domfront overview © andymorris17

Crag features

A reasonable sized outcrop in the small town of Domfront, with 72 routes from Fr2 to Fr7a, fully bolted.

The same rock-type as neighbouring crags La Fosse Arthour and Mortain, known as Armoricain.

The local climbing club from Mortain does climb here sometimes, but it is a bit of an unused spot and can be quite overgrown, despite some decent routes, especially on the hanging slab. There is also some loose rock between sectors - use of a helmet is advised.  It is known locally as the 'Tertre Saint Anne'

Approach notes

Park in a small car park on the D907 (Mortain Road) where it meets the 'Notre Dame Sous L'Eau' road. A google pin for the car park can be found here:

There is a footpath which can be followed northbound all the way to the crag. There are signs for 'site d'escalade' (climbing site).
