Approach notes

From Neuhaus drive towards Königstein.  About 500m before Königstein take a right turn signposted to Bischofsreuth.  Follow the road through the hamlet and beyond (towards Ossinger) until you reach a pull-in on the right-hand side signposted as a car park for walkers.  Park here and continue along the narrow road on foot as it turns into a track.  Follow this to a col and then turn right (following red stripes and the walking route 11).  Follow this through woods and then steeply downhill and across a field.  Continue to go straight on as you enter the woods following the path uphill and then into field.  After you have crossed the field there is immediately a sharp turn to the right.(going back across the other side of the field.) This is the walking route 5.  Follow this for about 400m until you see the crag above you to the left.
