Crag features
One of the best spots for steep pumpy sandstone in Europe. Fantastic in the 7a-8a range, but also has less steep 6's.
Approach notes
From Saverne take the Rue de General Leclerc to the Restaurant de Garenne then follow the forest road past the turning for the chateaux to arrive at a large parking area next to the maison forestiere du Schaeferplatz.
From behind the solitary picnic bench take the signposted path following red rectangles. After 600m an easily missed turning to the left climbs up then traverses for a further 300m to the cave.
