South facing beach near Start Point with a handful of beach boulders, winding DWS traverses and potential for further development. Easy access and good landings.
Approach notes
Park at Start Point car park and follow signs to Mattiscombe Sands. Also accessibe via the South West Coast Path if coming in from another area on foot.
No Access Issues
No formal access restrictions at present.
| Freestanding boulder was in the sea 2 hours after low tide. There's some other easy bits to play on, including a nice low overhang on undercuts in the middle of the beach. Outstanding beach! Albut - 28/Jun/25 |
