Crag features

The northern slopes of Sgaoth Iosal hold four buttresses numbered 1 to 4, west to east, then almost under the summit itself, Pinnacle Buttress. These overlook the A859 and are easily accessible from there. There are some easy climbs and scrambles. Sròn a' Sgaoth is the western termination of the summit shoulder of Sgaoth Iosal.

Approach notes

Near the top of the initial climb up from the Ceann an Ora Bridge at West Loch Tarbert, park just off the road at the entrance to the wind turbine site. Cross the road and ascend the steep hillside.
