Crag features

Gob an Tobha is the rocky headland at the northern tip of Ceapabhal, the prominent isolated hill overlooking the Sound of Taransay. This offers some climbing on a slim buttress to the west of a large black slab.

Approach notes

About 4km north of Leverburgh, turn off the A859 for Northton and park at the road end. Either approach over Ceapabhal and its northern top, or around the west side of the hill. The climbing is located in a small bay to the southwest of the headland and are sheltered from the worst of any swell.
