Small South facing crag on the headland at sea level. Small cave found in the East-most corner. Beautiful views of Arran (if it's not raining!). Rock is relatively good for the area, but can be crumbly at low levels. Dries quickly once the tide is out.
Descent can be awkward, and is best to make your way round headland accross the darker rocks at low tide.
Approach from Maidens village or from one of the many car parks along the seafront (some have toilets) . A lovely 15-25 minute walk along the beach.
Tidal, only accessible from half tide.
No parking available from Maidens Caravan site (which would significantly reduce the approach).
