drumore hillside boulders © Craig Thorburn
A great compact group of boulders varying in size located just behind the hill that sits above drumore loch. The rock quality is great and offers alot of intresting problems and features.
The area is still very new and in development so be carefull when trying established or new boulder problems as everything still needs a proper clean and there could be loose rock.
All grades linked to problems put up so far are just estimate.
The land owner has asked climbers to avoid using the gated forest track road that is closest to the loch for parking but has explained that parking next to the gated entrance further up the road on the corner is acceptable. (This is to avoid any problems with large lorries using that entrance).
From the road an obvious grassy slope should be visible, follow this uphill until a small path appears on your left (see crag photos)
Pheasant shooting season is on from the 1st october - 1st Febuary.
The hill on the approach from the road and the surrounding area/fields are currently being used for Pheasant shooting and the land owner has asked climbers to avoid using the venue until the pheasant shooting season is over.
