Crag features

The little brother of the better-known Ciampanil de Val has a decently steep climb with its bright yellow south face, which is also an ideal spring or autumn tour due to the low altitude. Because of the quick ascents and descents, if you start early, also possible as morning activities in thunderstorm weather. The route follows the path of least resistance, right through the sunny demolition. The finely structured wall requires varied movement patterns as well as technically interesting endurance climbing. Athletic passages form the two key points. The partly splintered rock has not yet fully climbed, the relatively good coverage has a calming effect. Because it goes down the same way afterwards, you can venture into the route even in uncertain weather.

Approach notes

From the parking lot on the trail in the forest, where you soon come to the "Kreuzweg", which you follow briefly to the right. Continue uphill on the path and climb over steep meadow slopes under the Ciampanil de Val. Entry at a spacious niche under a grassy steep ramp (½ hour).
