A pile of granite boulders capped by an impressive mushroom roof in the Tidbinbilla area. There is a mixture of trad crack routes and bolted face climbs, anywhere from 5 to 10 metres tall.
The Fortress is located along the firetrail southeast from Gibraltar Peak, at the junction with tracks coming up from Birrigai and Corin Road. Shortest approach is to park in the lay-by on Corin Road (-35.4623, 148.9691) and hike 15 minutes up the hill.
