Nugal Beach © Mmauger

Crag features

A huge array of boulders, mainly on the small side, with a huge amount of different climbing and styles. Most of which is likely untouched. Takes a bit of searching for something decent but some bits are definitely worth a look. There appear to be 3 main areas but there is likely many more hidden among the trees and beaches.

Unclear on any access issues, nothing obvious to say climbing is not allowed.

Approach notes

Area 1 is the St. Peter Forest Park outcrop, comprising of many sit starts and some decent sized walls on the sea facing side.

Area 2 is the Osejava Forest Park comprising of many boulders and cliff faces. Some of which could be used for rope climbing of some sort.

Area 3 is Nugal beach, comprising a selection of cliff faces. Note that Nugal beach is at least half a nudist beach, which some of the practitioners are quite defensive over. Could be a great long sea level traverse above the sea.
