Crag features
Two walls of schist facing in opposite directions.Probably best on a very sunny autumn day!
Approach notes
From the small village of St Eloy-d'Allier (NW of Montlucon) take the very minor road NW (signed 'Plan de l'eau'. As you approach the lake the road turns sharp R next to some houses. Parking here. From the parking follow the narrow path towards the Chateau. Keep going past the viewpoint and information board about the ruins. After a few zig-zags uphill turn R to the 'Point de vue'. The main wall is pretty much below you now! The lakeside sector is visible ahead and below and is accessible by faint paths.
