Climbs 5
Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 537m a.s.l
Faces SE
A small crag (12m max) of heavily featured limestone, vegetated in places, but with areas of good rock. The rock deteriorates in quality towards the top of the crag, but as it does so, the angle eases and it so it does not present undue difficulties for the leader. The climbs have only had one or two ascents, so the grading is approximate. If in doubt, a higher grade is listed. The climbs are listed left to right and the Topo is listed under Updates.
Park at the junction of The Occupation Road (a bridleway) with Deepdale Lane, on the Dent side of the watershed between Deepdale and Kingsdale, next to a signpost "Bridleway: Barbondale 5.5 miles". Follow The Occupation Road ie the bridleway for 3.6 km (NW, as the crow flies) until underneath the right hand end of the crag, where there is a gate. Go through the gate and up the quad bike track until about 70 m from the crag where a sheeptrack heads off leftwards on a rising traverse line, towards the far left end of the crag, which is where the climbing is situated. (1 hour)
None. The crag is on Open Access Land
