Crag features

A concrete bridge with several splitter cracks as have been found elsewhere in the country after Robbie Phillips and the Wide Boyz lockdown shenanigans. These cracks have a sloping lip on one side which on some cracks makes jamming either easier, redundant or less possible. The cracks on the west side are rather filthy and look nails so have not yet been scoped out much.

The bridge spans the canal making this a Shallow Water Soloing destination, be wary of any submerged shopping trolleys etc hidden by the murky waters. Bear in mind that this is a popular thoroughfare kayakers, paddle boarders and narrow boats, the latter occasionally moor under the bridge making the finishing of routes more dangerous as well as a potential invasion of privacy. It is also right next to the Waters Edge pub so enjoy the vocal support of its patrons as you attempt these climbs.

Approach notes

Approach from the north and take the footpath that flanks under the bridge on the east to get to the base of the crag. The best parking is probably in one of the many shop carparks in the marina retail park, from here walk over the bridge and approach as described. It's not rocket science.

Pigeon shit needs to be listed on the crag features
